Set up the machine and record the meter reading

Here’s how it works

1. Set up the machineSettings → Articles → Machines → click on the yellow plus sign to the right of the list.
2. Fill in basic dataEnter the number, title, unit (e.g., «machine hour»), cost center, department, and status. The VAT rate is a required field; otherwise, «Error while saving» appears.
3. Assigning employeesIn the «Employees» field, you specify who the machine is assigned to.
4. Activate the counter displayIn the same form, in the «Machine management» block, check «Counter status in time recording» and enter «Start counter status in machine hours». In the time recording, «Last counter status» and «Current counter status» will then appear.
5. Post pricesIn the «Tariffs» block, enter the prices per tariff category (e.g., internal, external) for each starting date (e.g., «Add»).
6. Capture timeIn the Time recording add «+» for «machines» and enter the amount in machine hours.
