ForstControl launches AI innovation project with FHNW and Innosuisse

ForstControl takes the next innovative step: together with the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and the Innosuisse we are specifically developing AI applications for forestry. The corresponding preliminary innovation project was officially approved a week ago - an important milestone for our technological development.

The aim of the project is to integrate concrete and practical AI solutions directly into ForstControl. The focus is on applications that simplify processes, improve the basis for decision-making and make administrative procedures more efficient. Together with the research partners, we analyze existing data structures and identify fields of application with high added value for forest owners, forestry companies and authorities.

The support from Innosuisse confirms the innovative potential of our approach. It enables us to closely dovetail research and practice and align new technologies with the needs of the industry. The collaboration with the FHNW brings additional scientific expertise in the areas of data analysis, machine learning and system integration.

For investors and partners, this means a clear strategic focus: ForstControl systematically invests in future technologies in order to secure long-term competitive advantages and tap into new market potential. AI is not seen as an end in itself, but as an instrument for the sustainable optimization of forestry processes.

We would like to thank our partners for their trust and look forward to taking ForstControl to the next level in terms of technology - with solutions that make an impact in the forest.
