Data protection and security – really tough for a startup

🧐 Honestly, are we really the only idiots who try to keep everything in check? 😅 For several weeks now, I’ve been watching competitors in the forestry industry and asking myself the question: How do they manage to keep everything in check? They release new features every day, bug fixes, new privacy regulations, new terms of service, etc 🤣. .

We at ForstControl It takes a hell of a lot of time, money, and nerves to implement the security requirements for software for states, cantons, cities, and municipalities cleanly.

How are all the others doing it? 🤷‍♂️

Many competitors in the forestry industry are small software companies, small teams. Sometimes these are one- or two-person companies.

At the same time, we talk about GDPR, GDPR, ISO 27001, data protection, documented processes, technical security measures, and regular pen tests. That costs a lot of time and a lot of money..

All this alongside development, support, sales, and customer projects?
Respect. Really. 😅

Or maybe the tender process isn't really being carried out as strictly everywhere after all?

💡 The siabit AG is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified ATTESTA Swiss Certification Company AG certified and we live it. Safety is and remains very, very important to us.
