The sale of FOMEA AG to David Henzmann, owner of ForstControl, marks the start of a new chapter in the company's 35-year success story. Urs Giger, who has shaped FOMEA with his professional expertise and friendly manner, will remain with the company on a transitional basis - his knowledge will thus continue to flow into future development.
FOMEA AG has been an official sales partner of Haglöf SWEDEN AB for over a decade and supports customers in Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Whether measuring scales or forestry software solutions - the company is the first port of call for professional equipment in the forest. And that remains the case.
Urs Giger and David Henzmann's visit to Haglöf in Sweden at the end of 2022 illustrates the continuity in the partnership and the care taken in the handover process. At the same time, the new owner has a clear vision for the future: the integration of FOMEA into ForstControl's digital platform creates new opportunities in customer service.
A first concrete step: an online store for spare parts and consumables is being set up. This will make ordering easier, faster and more customer-friendly. Further innovations are planned, but have not yet been communicated.
Important: FOMEA AG will remain an independent brand. Products, services and personal advice will remain - only more digital, more efficient and even closer to the customer.
